Children and young people in Greater Manchester are being asked about their experiences of going to A&E.

Their views will help to improve emergency care for young patients in the future.

Children and young people, together with their parents or guardians, are encouraged to fill in a survey before the closing date on Friday 28 February 2020.

There are two surveys available, a survey for children and young people and a survey for parents, carers and guardians.

The children and young people’s survey has been co-designed with young people who feel these are the right set of questions and the best way to engage with as many children and young people as possible.

Paper copies of the survey will also be available at A&E departments in Greater Manchester along with freepost envelopes for those who prefer to complete the survey after they have left the hospital.

The survey can be supplied in alternative formats, including other languages, easy read, large print, audio, Braille and electronically. Please contact gmhscp.isc@nhs.net.

Two videos have also been produced to provide more information.
